King Tut Day

King Tutankhamun, or King Tut as he’s more commonly known, was an Egyptian pharaoh who lived from 1341 BC – 1323 BC. He is so well known because his tomb was discovered intact in 1922 by Howard Carter. Most tombs discovered were cleaned out by tomb robbers over the centuries. The contents of that tomb are spectacular and have been photographed and viewed by countless people. Check out the links below for more information and wonderful pictures.
